Since 1 January 2015, the region of Osona has been fully incorporated into the integrated tariff system.
The regions of Berguedà and El Ripollès have been included into the system under special conditions.
With the recent expansion of these three regions, the integrated tariff system provides service to 346 municipalities and 5,712,503 inhabitants.
The integrated tariff enables passengers to pay for a single journey and make transfers on different means of transport. This translates to considerable savings for all users.
In Osona, the current sector 6F was expanded and sector 6H was created.
In El Berguedà and El Ripollès, a seventh pricing zone was created. Because it was technically impossible to incorporate this new pricing zone with today’s magnetic strip technology, the ATM (Metropolitan Transport Authority) has developed a partial integration model using 10-journey packs.
The BerguedĂ -Barcelona Pack consists of a rechargeable 10-journey card for the Alsina Graells bus lines and an integrated T-casual (10 journeys) public transport card for one zone. The pack enables passengers to take the trip into Barcelona and to make transfers within Zone 1, using the T-casual.
The BerguedĂ -Bages Pack consists of a rechargeable 10-journey card for the Alsina Graells bus service and an integrated T-casual (10 journeys) public transport card for one zone. The pack enables passengers to take the trip into the Bages Region and to make transfers within the destination area (6D or 6E), using the T-casual.
The Ripollès-Barcelona Pack consists of a 10-journey train pass for the Rodalies de Catalunya train or a rechargeable TEISA bus service card and an integrated T-casual (10 journeys) public transport card for one zone. The pack enables passengers to take the trip into Barcelona and to make transfers within Zone 1, using the T-casual.
